Note 22 Other income

Other income in 2018 came in at €148 million (2017: €43 million). The increase in the other income is mainly due to the book profit on the sale of Allego (€105 million) in 2018.

Note 25 Other operating expenses

Other operating expenses amounted to €343 million in 2018 compared with €329 million in 2017. The rise of €14 million was mainly due to the increase in sufferance taxes (by €17 million).
